In this program we go to different school using the
curriculum approved by the state and give a lesson about Motorcycle
Awareness and How to Share the Road
There are two DVDs and also a quiz handout as well as a
Hand Signal handout.
We have the Florida Driver Handbooks for cars and
motorcycles to take the drivers tests that we give to the students.
At the end of the presentation students go outside to
meet the motorcyclists and see the motorcycle different rider bring they
bike to participate by. Except in Leon County presently
Hopefully Abate members will plan to come to these two
schools to help out a back ground check must be obtained on anyone before
they enter school property. A volunteer will need to provide their full
name, city, county and zip code.
At Wakulla and East Gadsden,
motorcyclists are allowed to come on campus and for now all Leon County
Schools will not allow motorcyclists to come on campus.
